Our father-son Canada goose hunt was everything you said it’d be. Nick and I had a wonderful time. We definitely plan on making Canada goose hunting an annual trip.

Nick and I had a wonderful time.  We have been hunting together since he was 5 when he shot his 1st deer.  He was 8 when we started duck hunting together.  He has killed over 40 deer, lots of ducks, doves, pheasants and chuckers, but this was his 1st official Canada goose hunt and it was all we could ask for.  We hunted all the different species of geese and shot lots of ducks, including divers.  Fondest memories were when Nick shot his first 3.5-inch shell, and watching him try to hold 4 Giant Canadas for a photo.  When Nick shot a banded blue goose, it was like seeing Santa Claus.   We definitely plan on making Canada goose hunting an annual trip.
