Had another great Oklahoma deer hunting trip this year, second time in as many years that we have been out to NW Oklahoma and we now have 2 trophy Oklahoma bucks to show for it.  The deer activity out there is ridiculous, saw literally hundreds of deer both years.  Rattled this buck up from over 500 yards out to within 200 before taking him.  That’s something that just doesn’t happen where I hunt here at home.

Another thing that we look forward to every year is the atmosphere around the camphouse.  We go the same time every year and so do alot of other hunters.  This year when we rolled into camp a couple of guys from last years trip were there and we got to spend a couple days swapping hunting stories over a glass of whiskey.  I’ve definitely made a couple of friends for life that I would not have had the opportunity to meet otherwise, and that’s an added bonus to the great hunting.

Can’t say enough good things about the outfitter.  Great guy that will be as involved or as uninvolved in your hunt as you want him to be.  He knows the land, too.  He debriefs each hunter after every hunt, keeps detailed notes of what was seen, literally has an inventory of deer, and will put you in a spot and be able to tell you what deer to look for.  Great time all around.  Thanks to Ramsey and GetDucks.com for setting this Oklahoma deer hunt up.
