Great communication with GetDucks.com staff prior to the hunt. Regarding the diversity of the experience – I cant pick a favorite hunt, but all were very enjoyable.
The hospitality, diversity and hunting were all very good. The food was great as well! Martha was an excellent assistant and made our experience more complete with a great attitude that allows interaction with the staff. All things went smoothly once we arrived at La Paz and we’d prefer a more direct transfer next time. One suggestion is to put more photos of the cottages, chocolate factory and mineral springs on your page! We thoroughly enjoyed La Paz, although it is not the fanciest place in the world it is right down my alley!!!

La Paz is a slice of Heaven! As a lifetime waterfowl enthusiast and owner of a waterfowl operation in North America, I understand that the success of a trip is the collection of everything one experiences while in the care of others.
The accommodations in La Paz were supurb. Food was gourmet and homemade. The hosts, as well as our facilitator Martha, made us feel at home.
The details of our hunt were accounted for from the fun loving bird boys to the excellent dog work. The hunting was full of variety. We shot decoying ducks including 4 species of teal, tree ducks, shovelers and rosy-billed pochards while watching hundreds of thousands of doves fly overhead. Dorado, perdiz, decoying pigeons and intense dove hunting were at our fingertips!
Thanks for the incredible time. Next time I will leave the boys behind and return with my spouse…soon!

Ramsey and Anita are very knowledgeable and each are a joy to work with. Ramsey loves to hunt and talk ducks, and Anita did a great job with the paperwork! Birds were plentiful.

The last morning everyone shot 50 ducks each. Diego is the best waterfowl hunter I have ever been on a guided hunt with.

Large number of decoying birds at close range, I used my 410 Wingmaster pump most of the time and had no problem getting my birds. Anita was very good on giving me info I needed for my trip and even caught a flight mess up on my part.

Epic Argentina duck hunting…ducks like the sky was falling. Yes got to do perdiz and pigeons and then hunted fox, killed 9 in 2-3 hours. The extra days with Diego were far and away the wildest shoots ever.

“Seeing the paradise ducks decoy so readily was beautiful. There were plenty of ducks, but we had to go find them (i.e. it was a hunt, not a harvest). The challenge of shooting in a gale-force nor’wester was energizing! I enjoyed shooting 5 shells – I had three birds on the ground in one volley (and plenty of misses as well!). I love the landscape around Hanmer and we were very lucky to have sunshine both days.
Our New Zealand host-guide, John, was very easy to be with, clear in his directions, did good calls and had good eyes. He had done his homework about where the ducks were hanging out, though the ducks didn’t fully co-operate on day 2. Nevertheless, he found them and we had very good shooting. I liked the blind set-up. It was very clever, and portable, and easy to put up and take down. Swivel buckets would be an improvement on the seating but what we had worked for me.
I loved the apres-hunting wine and hors d’oeuvres, and having my non-hunting friends join us was a bonus. We were very well looked after by Robin and the chefs. Robin was fantastic, just like an old friend. Bruce getting a double on mallards was good! Chasing away the hawks from the kills was memorable. Having lunch delivered to the field was very spiffy. GetDucks.com was fantastic, responded quickly to inquiries and I recommend you for this New Zealand duck hunting trip.”

I had the greatest trip of a lifetime down in La Paz. From you Anita doing all the paper work which was well done to Ramsey calling me beforehand to make sure I had everything in place, you have a well organised business.

From the La Paz operation you have a real gem in Martha, she really went to the end of the world to do everything possible for me, as well as that I found a real friend who is very bright and intelligent and has deep thoughts and emotions. She stuck with me like glue and never missed a beat. She is your most prized asset and I hope that you accommodate her very very well for without her your operation down there would not be as successful!!!!
The shooting was as good as advertised and I shot 96 pigeons, 72 ducks and 10 Perdiz over 2 days so that is what I went down there for and I realize that sometimes birds don’t always show up!! I have wonderfull memories and you all made it come true for me.
All in all a wonderful trip. I hope to come back some day. It’s a huge expense for me but well worth it .
