Missouri Duck Hunting

Missouri duck hunting in the waterfowling paradise of Missouri’s bootheel is as good as you’ve heard, and nobody does it better that Treasure Island Outfitters.  It’s no secret that in normal winters, Missouri is usually where many mallards hang out until until hard water and snow cover finally drives drive them further south. Waterfowl trade among Big Lake Refuge, Arkansas, Reelfoot Lake, Tennessee, and the Mississippi River, feeding in abundant regional agriculture. Habitat consists of flooded rice, soybeans, moist-soil, flooded timber. Hunting areas are usually within a short drive from camp.  Depending on waterfowl activity, hunts are conducted over water, from large, comfortable blinds with plenty of creature comfort to include heaters and hot coffee. Blinds accommodate maximum 6-10 hunters. Typical set-ups are extensive top-of-the-line  Higdon decoys, plus spinning-winged decoys.

A new 9,000 square-feet hunting lodge can’t be beat for convenience and comfort. It’s the perfect place to unwind in comfort between all-inclusive hunts. Premium amenities include large living area with flat screen TVs and fireplace; bar area to mix your favorite cocktails; coffee bar to kick your morning off right; upstairs lounge with pool, darts, card tables, etc.;  12 double bedrooms with private bathrooms; large covered patio with a fire pit; executive mud room for gear; heated area with dog kennels.
