Argentina duck hunting Las Flores was 1st-class ,very well-run, unbelievable trip…
Ramsey and Anita,
Argentina duck hunting Las Flores was unbelievable. The entire staff was awesome, we also enjoyed having Ramsey in camp for our week. Great stories and a wealth of knowledge.
If you would have asked me what I would expect out of this trip in regards to accommodations, food, birds, staff etc, I would have been nowhere near what was actually experienced. From the start this was a 1st-class ,very well-run Argentina duck hunting trip. The hotel and area we were recommended to stay at in Buenos Aries was perfect, the transfers from the hotel to the lodge was seamless. The lodge itself was awesome, a freshly renovated 100+ year old ranch house was the perfect setting, and house staff was unbelievable. I am not kidding – I gained 10-15 lbs, and I already miss those duck empanadas! The food, wine, beer, etc., was excellent and plentiful. Oh yeah, we duck hunted also and it was incredible. I have never seen anything like it in my life. I have been on some great duck hunts over the past few years but nothing compares.
I had a cut up thumb from loading shells so fast. The number of hard charging rosy-bills we saw were incredible. I had to sit back every now and then and just take in what was happening, wave after wave of ducks was incredible. Going through the photos it looks like we shot 8 different species of ducks, including a few cinnamon teal one day. Cinnamon teal were definitely a bucket-list duck for me. The one afternoon we dove hunted was a blast! Will I be back? Yes! It will be a few years since I am committed to good number of hunting trips but I will definitely be back in about 3 years and already looking forward to it.
Thank you for what you do!
Phil Foley
