The Ontario Canada turkey hunting season runs from April 25-May
31 with a bag limit of 2 birds. Tens of thousands of
exclusive acreage to hunt ensures big-boss, low-pressured
toms.
Birds as heavy as 26 pounds and the occasional double -or
triple-bearded birds have been harvested. Fully-guided
turkey hunts include the professional guide per one or two
hunters.
Hunters are lodged in 4,200 square feet of comfortable living
space featuring 6 bedrooms, satellite TV, internet access, air
conditioning, 3 full bathrooms, large dining area, Jacuzzi tub, and
an 8 person outdoor hot tub, and daily maid service. A
pre-hunt continental breakfast is included in package cost; lunch
and dinner are available at local restaurants.

Ontario Canada turkey hunting bag limits consist of 2 gobblers
per hunter.
General Requirements - Ontario Canada Turkey
Hunting
Non-residents must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Ontario
Wild Turkey Hunter Education Course and passed the written
exam. Certification is good for a lifetime. We
reserve opening dates for first-time Ontario Canada turkey hunting
visitors. The outfitter will accompany non-certified turkey
hunters to the course the day preceding their Ontario Canada turkey
hunt.
- Have all applicable licences, game seals and validation tags or
certificates for the species being hunted
- Comply with federal firearms regulations
- Be the registered guest of a tourist outfitter and/or hunt with
a guide, where required
- Observe all applicable provincial and federal hunting
regulations.
License Info - Ontario Canada Turkey Hunts
To hunt turkeys in Ontario, Canada, you require the
following:
- Non-resident's small game license $96.75.
- A Ontario wild turkey hunting license
$24.00.
Licenses can be purchased from select retail stores such as
Canadian Tire and Wal-Mart in Ontario as well as some large outdoor
stores. Note that licenses cannot be purchased over the
Internet.
Important: To purchase a non-resident
Ontario hunting license, non-resident applicants must
provide documentation indicating he/she would be authorized to
purchase a hunting license in their home jurisdiction. A
current hunting license for your jurisdiction is an example of a
suitable documentation. For more information, call the

Bird Processing - Ontario Canada Turkey
Hunt
The holder of a licence who has killed
a wild turkey shall: a) Immediately after the kill and at the site
of the kill attach the game seal provided with the licence or
licence tag to the wild turkey in the manner indicated on the seal,
and b) Keep the game seal attached to the wild turkey until it is
prepared for consumption.
Mandatory Reporting of Turkey Harvest.
Successful Ontario Canada turkey hunters must report their
harvested turkey by calling toll-free 1-800-288-1155 and providing
the requested harvest information no later than 12:00 noon the day
after the bird was harvested. Once you complete your harvest
report, you will be provided with a confirmation number. Record the
confirmation number in the box provided on your licence and keep it
as a record that you have reported. An information worksheet is
provided on page 31 to assist you in gathering the necessary
information before calling to report your harvest. This information
